Protect your email addresses

Most harvesting programs look for ‘mailto:’ links or @ signs, but all they see with the encrypted code is meaningless letters and numbers. Using this code, your email address should be safe from any programs trawling the net for email addresses.

Remember: Never publish non-encoded email addresses on your site or elsewhere on the internet - always use the encoded email address. If you need to provide an email address in an un-encrypted format, use a disposable email address.

If your webserver has php, asp, perl etc. enabled, you should also consider using contact form, but watch out for security issues, older scripts in particular may be vulnerable to spoofing.
